Come again? No its a beta project actually, much, much, less than flash (with a 10 year history). The last time I looked Silverlight has about 5% of the feature set that Flash has. Thier claim to fame whas support for the h.264 video codec, witch also came out with latest version of flash player. 

As you pointed out, noone but .Net developer care about Silverfish and XAML.</description>
