Asus Eee PC to get new version

eee-pc-revamp.jpgLooks like the Asus Eee PC will be getting a revamp not too long after its initial release. According to Asus, they are currently working on a special preview website. The revamps Eee PC will sport Intel’s very own WiMAX for superior broadband Internet access, and is tipped to be made available in the US via Sprint’s involvement in the project. The actual launch depends on Sprint’s 4G network that will be launched during spring. Some of the other rumored hardware changes include 8.9″ displays, which is a marked improvement over the current 7″ models. Do you plan on waiting for the new Eee PC, or do you prefer to pick one up already if you haven’t done so yet?
