Green House EXC-ESA2

by Edwin

Green House has just released its GH-EXC-ESA2 card that increases the connectivity of your notebook. It will feature a couple of 3.0Gbps eSATA slots, a JBOD external drive, and support for RAID 0/1. Not only will it come in the older PCMCIA Type II model, there will also be a PCI Express version. Both devices have been certified to run on both Windows XP and Vista, so Mac owners are out of the loop yet again. Bummer! No idea on how much this costs, nor whether it will be available outside of Japan or not.

by Edwin

warcraft-millionaire.jpgI suppose if you’re an angsty teen who frequents gadget websites such as CG, then chances are you also fall into the demographic where video and computer games play a very big role in your entertainment life, much to the chagrin of your parents I presume. After all, if you have passion for something and spend plenty hours on it, why not turn it into a career? Apparently this is what Brad Johnson has done. His chosen cash cow? Blizzard’s World of Warcraft. His first product, Warcraft Millionaire: The Blueprint to One Million Gold, is a self-proclaimed “complete gold making solution for the world’s most popular MMORPG”. With millions of World of Warcraft (WoW) players from all over the globe providing feedback in recent months on how to turn WoW into a money making enterprise, Brad Johnson seized upon this opportunity to compile what can be considered the world’s most complete WoW gold guide, specially designed to integrate the top gold making techniques from multiple strategies into a thorough package of tips, strategies, and resources.

Samsung Glyde

Samsung Glyde

After seeing pictures of the Samsung Glyde, I believe that we have seen just about everything that can be done with cell phones. It appears that the new industry standard could be a touchscreen along with a QWERTY keyboard. Obviously some new iPhone-ish type of gadget has to come out in order to really revolutionize the mobile phone market any further.

Until then, there is the Glyde. The Glyde is surfing the present industry standard with its touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard. The Glyde, whose official name is the Samsung SCH-U940, has some other very interesting features. Not only does it have a GPS, but there is a full HTML browser as well as V CAST Muisc and Video.

Perfect Spheres of Ice

Perfect Spheres of Ice

One of the things that I love about airline travel is the ice cubes in the drinks they serve. I always liked the cylindrical shaped cubes that were somehow hollowed out in the middle. Somehow, they were always better than the cubes that you crack out of the ice trays at home.

It appears that a Japanese company has cornered the market on unusual ice cube shapes with the Ice Mold, a spherical ice cube maker.

I don’t care whether you’re a pilot or a frequent flier, there are still ways for the good old time zones to wipe your body clock clean of any past rhythms. Taking a trip from the U.S. to the U.K. is only fun once you’ve got your sleeping patterns back under control. At least enough so you can get a taste of both the night life, and the day light festivities.

The BC4 Flight Timer from Oris is a awesome way to keep tabs on up to three time zones at once right from your wrist. The BC4 features an automatic movement with the second timezone subdial, while the extra-large crown can adjust the third dial for yet another time zone.

Fingerprint Authentication Mouse Locks Files With Biometrics

by AndrewD

Truth be told, I have an assortment of files on my computer I’d rather not have other people look at. Whether it be secretive outlines for future blog posts or confidential paper work and conversations, there are just some pieces of data I’d rather not have viewed by any nosy desktop hunters.

While there are plenty of ways to hide the files behind a wall of security features, such as marking files as hidden or developing a password system, the only method some people feel secure with is the use of biometrics. The Sequiam Biometrics ScanQ Fingerprint Authentication Scanner and Software is made especially for securing your personal files which need a little extra privacy.
