Massaging Backpack

Massaging Backpack

Anyone who is married knows the importance of giving a massage to their loved one. For those who aren’t married, and don’t have that special someone to give a massage to, this Massaging backpack device might be the thing you need.

The Massaging backpack allows some nice vibration where you need it so you can definitely feel more relaxed. Unlike most massages where you are required to lie down, you can take this one with you. As you can see, there is some serious waves being made with this device, and all of them come together for some serious relieving of pressure.

It appears to apply some good stimulus to the shoulders, as well as your shoulder blades. It comes with a remote control, but it is unfortunately attached to the apparatus itself. Too bad it isn’t wireless, and I would have gone so far as to make it operable by cellular phone via Bluetooth.

GestureTek offers iPhone-like functionality

by Edwin

gesturetek.jpgGestureTek Mobile will take advantage of the CTIA Wireless even in Las Vegas by showing off its patented EyeMobile Engine to the masses. The EyeMobile Engine is a software-based natural user interface which aims to enhance the user experience for those who rely on cell phones or personal digital assistants (PDAs). This means virtually any command that are executed using conventional button presses will soon be able to be executed by tilting, shaking, rocking or rolling the mobile device. Bear in mind that this device does not use an accelerometer since EyeMobile is smart enough to function with existing hardware on any camera-enabled handset.

Bluetooth Microphone fits inside your tooth

Bluetooth Dental Mic

Since Bluetooth became a standard feature on most phones, people have been coming up with all sorts of new headsets. The ones that fascinate me the most are the ones that use the vibrations from the bone in your jaw to detect what you are saying. To me it’s cool and creepy at the same time. Less creepy though, than this new Bluetooth Dental Insert Microphone.

Best Hedge Trimmer

by Edwin

hedge-trimmer.jpgAre you currently in the market for a hedge trimmer of sorts? If so, then let Hammacher fulfil your needs with the Best Hedge Trimmer.

This electric hedge trimmer was selected Best in tests conducted by the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute for cutting ability, handling, and safety. It has a powerful 41/2-amp motor that provides 3,650 strokes per minute, enabling its 22″ long double-reciprocating blades to cut through a 3/4″ branch or stem. The blades are made of high-carbon steel and coated in titanium–renowned for its corrosion-resistance- -helping them to retain their sharpness for the most reliable cutting performance available. Its comfortable cushioned grip allows both left-and right-handed users to efficiently operate the trimmer, and panelists noted that this model generated the least amount of vibration and was the easiest to maneuver due to its blade length, unlike heavier, unbalanced longer-bladed models. A safety lock on the handle instantly turns the trimmer off when you remove your finger from the handle.

Hammacher is currently selling the Best Hedge Trimmer for $89.95 a pop. Those living in apartments need not apply.

Chocolate Brussel Sprouts

by Edwin

choc-brusselssprouts.jpgAs any parent can tell you, most kids just hate to eat their vegetables, so if you were to ask a kid just what he/she would do in order to eat vegetables chances are they will want to alter the flavor first, followed by its texture. These three kids would want to make all vegetables taste like chocolate after inventing the “Micro Flavor Machine” that currently stands a chance of winning the 2008 Toshiba/National Science Teachers Association ExploraVision Awards. These third graders are whizz kids, where Katie developed a little prototype machine with two magnetrons that enables food to look the same when cooked, with changes made to the taste instead.

greenhouse-monitor.jpg

Green House has just rolled out the GH-TIG243SH-LB LCD monitor in Japan, bringing yet another 24″ widescreen monitor to the masses. This time round, you will be able to pamper yourself with the following specifications :-

  • 1,000:1 contrast ratio
  • 5ms response time
  • 400 cd/m² brightness
  • Integrated stereo speakers
  • HDMI port

The Green House GH-TIG243SH-LB LCD monitor will be released early this May for $578 after conversion. I like the fact that it comes with an HDMI port, allowing you to use this as a secondary display for your Xbox 360 Elite or PS3 whenever dad is hogging the HDTV for his big game.

3Tb of Removable Storage

by Matthew

3tb-raidpacThe RAIDFrame Backup system has been created by a company named Highly Reliable Systems and works with removable cartridges which can store 3 Terabytes of data. The 1 Bay version carries the 1 cartridge and attaches direct to your server or PC via USB or eSATA. With the device being RAID it means that no special drivers are required to read the data as the server will see the RAID array as 1 drive.

RAIDPacs are made of 3 standard SATA drives which can be replaced as needed. The RAID controller is built in to the device meaning that as soon as the RAIDPac is connected, it just shows as removable storage.
