Music Alarm Clock

Waking up to the sounds of a buzzing alarm clock often comes as a shock to my system – I prefer to have a bubbling brook or chirping birds do it gently. The Music Alarm Clock from Brando will be able to rouse you from your slumber with your favorite tunes, featuring audio playback, a digital clock, speaker and an integrated FM radio. 1GB of internal memory ought to be more than enough for you, unless you want to listen to a never-ending alarm before waking up. The Music Alarm Clock retails for $48. I think a standard iPod speaker dock still looks nicer though…
Solar Birdbath Fountain
Go green with this Solar Birdbath Fountain. I’m sure it operates on the same principles and mechanism as the solar-powered birdbath we covered some time ago, but the model here is different in terms of aesthetics.
Free solar power turns this handsome birdbath into a soothing fountain. No wiring or plumbing needed. The sun does all the work, transforming this eye-catching birdbath into a bubbling spout of water. Direct sunlight activates the birdbath’s fountain, bringing the relaxing sounds of splashing water to your yard.
Priced at $179, make sure you don’t have any Garfield-wannabes in the vicinity, all geared up to pounce on your feathered friends.
Sony announces new nav-u PNDs

Sony seems to be dipping their fingers in just about every segment of consumer electronics, including the personal navigation device (PND) market. The Japanese company has just announced a couple of new models known as the NV-U73T and NV-U83T which are readily available at retail and online stores for approximately $300 and $400, respectively. If you have used any type of PNDs before, you would notice that they all offer pretty much the same features, and it is no different with these two Sony offerings. They feature text-to-speech voice commands and real-time-traffic capability and a super suction cup mounting system that is said to provide added safety – by not dropping down while you drive I guess.

Sony ICF-ClipMK2 Clock Radio
How many of you folk out there already own an iPod, or maybe having two or three in a single household? I’m sure I see plenty of hands being lifted up, and chances are most of you already have some sort of iPod dock sitting in your living room or bedroom. That deduction makes perfect sense, considering just about any company coming out with iPod docks these days, never mind their sound quality. After all, they make convenient charging points as well. Sony is about to jump onto the iPod dock bandwagon with its clock radio known as the ICF-ClipMK2. Yeah, it is pretty unpronounceable, but we’ll have to make do with it for the moment.

I just had to write about this: Toshiba 815T PB

What you see is what you get. Apparently, these Toshiba 815T PB phones have come in contact with the Allspark Cube from the Transformers movie and now have bodies of their own. Now all they need are guns and missiles like that one crazy Nokia phone.
Apparently, this is all part of promo for a new show called Ketai Sousakan 7. To be honest, I don’t know how anyone could make a show about transforming cell phones, but how can you not, really? Especially ones with faces like those. I wonder what the plot will be about. Maybe it’s about cell phones that want to be human. Very silly, really.
By the way, these Toshiba 815T PB phones are fully functional as they are 3G network enabled, and come with a 3.2 megapixel camera.
All right, those are the facts. Now here comes the part where I make fun of this concept. This time, it is just too easy. Do we need phones that can transform, even if their limbs did work? If so, they had better have more of an Autobot rather than Decepticon streak.

Dream Authentics Tabletop Arcade Game

Man, didn’t you just love the eighties? They used to have these places called “arcades”, where you could play all varieties of video games standing up that had a wide diversity of controllers ranging from track-balls, spinners, and the good old joystick with buttons.
The Dream Authentics Tabletop Arcade Game recaptures the spirit of that unfortunately bygone era, without the whole standing up part. A player can now sit down at their desk and enjoy classic games such as Pac-Man, Tempest, Centipede, Gauntlet, as well as 150 other classic titles from the big video game corporations like Atari, Midway, and Namco.
This Arcade flashback from the eighties can also act as a quarter-munching fad from the fifties: a jukebox. Unfortunately, this device doesn’t use old donut 45s, but relies completely on playing MP3s of your favorite tunes. The whole device is powered by a slimline PC with a 19 inch screen.

Recover deleted text messages with the Cell Phone SIM Card Spy

Have you ever deleted an important file that you didn’t have backed up anywhere? When that happens it’s horrible, but you can’t blame anyone but yourself for not keeping proper backups. However, if you delete something like an important text message, you at least have the comfort of knowing that there’s no easy way to keep constant backups of those. What’s great is that now there is a device that will allow you to recover deleted text messages from your phone.

OneLink talks to you, lets you know exactly where the fire is

I’m still a renter, so I don’t have the luxury of picking out what smoke detectors I get to rely on. I really wish I did, because I hate the ones installed throughout my place. Apparently they’re all connected and if one goes off, they all go off. The only way to get them to stop is to remove the batteries and disconnect each and every one from the wall. Do you have any idea how frustrating that is when you’ve got an ear-splitting wail going off throughout the entire house? I get why they’re all connected, but there has got to be a better way. I’d much rather just get a few of these OneLink detectors.
