USB Santa booties keep your feet warm

USB Santa Booties

There are many jobs that I think I would enjoy doing. One that I think I would particularly enjoy would be the guy that thinks up new USB devices. You know, the guy that thinks up the wacky things like a humping dog that’s a flash drive, or a refrigerator that will hold precisely one can of your favorite carbonated beverage. Well, whoever that guy is, he’s come up with a new one. This time it’s a set of Christmas-themed booties that’ll keep your feet warm.

If these didn’t look so much like Christmas stockings, I might actually be tempted, as my feet generally get cold in the winter months. Then again, I’d probably try to walk off in them, forgetting that they were actually attached to my computer via the USB cable. I’m not very good at translating Japanese, but they do appear to have a battery-operated pair, but they don’t get quite as warm unless they’re plugged in.

I’m not sure quite how warm they get, but I wouldn’t get your hopes too high. The good news is that they won’t break the bank. The wired-only version will set you back about $27, while the wireless pair will run close to twice as much.

This is a pretty stupid product. What’s the point of the USB connection anyway? To keep your feet warm!? That’s stupid! Computers we not designed to keep our feet warm while tied to your system. Is there a game you play with these ugly booties on - walking around trying to find Santa or doing his bidding. If not, this product makes no sense, and is worthless. 27 bucks for this is still a rip-off!
