iLuv preps CES 2008 line up

iluv-ces2008.jpgiLuv has just announced a bunch of new products that it will launch come CES 2008. Known for their range of unique audio, video and communications products and accessories for personal entertainment, one of the main attractions from iLuv at next year’s CES would be the i1255 5.1 Channel Slim Desktop iPod/DVD player. The i1255 boasts a modern sleek design in a package that provides both iPod connectivity and DVD playback. In addition, it is capable of handling music from various sources such as audio CDs, MP3 CDs and iPods (sixth generation iPods are more than welcome to rest in this iLuv offering). You get the total package with this, featuring integrated dock adapters, an OSD function for easy navigation, compatibility with the iPod touch, iPod classic (80GB, 160GB), iPod Nano 3rd Gen, and iPod Video (30GB, 60GB, 80GB), slow- and fast-motion playback and zoom operation for its DVD player and compatibility with DVD, VCD, MP3 CD, Audio CD, JPEG CD, and Kodak Picture CD media.

As for the i399 BluePin 2.1 Channel Hi-Fi Audio System, this unique audio system targets your iPod and prides itself in being the first iLuv product to feature the newest BluePin II technology – that translates to approximately 100 meters of freedom. Designed using the patented jAura sound cell technology and featuring a built-in woofer, this 2.1 channel speaker system is capable of reproducing a more authentic and richer audio sound. Other features include speaker phone capabilities, a rhythm-sensitive blue LED light, FM stereo radio capabilities, a digital clock display and an auxiliary line input that is compatible with 1G, 2G and 3G iPods.

We’ve seen the iLuv i1155 a couple of days ago, and I must say the company’s track record in the past is pretty impressive for the average home user. Not audiophile level hardware, but definitely more than enough for the layman.
