Gadgets for the prankster
by Tiago in Gadget Gift Ideas, Gadget Humor, Wacky GadgetsSimple, yet stupid, and fun – those are the characteristics of most prank products, and the following list is a proof of that. From sport related pranks like special golf balls, to annoying the crap out of your office buddies by using a remote control, it is all here.
Voice Changer Professional Version
In case you want to make the old-school phone call pranks to friends, you got better chances to be successful if your voice isn’t recognizable.
To achieve the desired effect, use the Professional Voice Changer in which you can adjust the pitch to make the voice sound go higher, or lower.
It plugs into your phone so you do not have to hold it over the phone’s mouthpiece.
Installs in seconds by plugging into the handset and base of any single line phone. Will not work on multiline phone systems.
The Voice Changer is available at Amazon for $35.
Remote Control Middle Finger
The middle finger can be used in plenty of different occasions, be it with friends at home, on the office with the buddies, and also onyour car to express your “gratitude” to other drivers.
The wireless remote control has a range of 50 feet (15 meters) and in order to work, just press the button and watch the middle finger rise up.
Give someone the finger with the push of a button. Remote-control allows finger to magically rise up and flip ‘em the bird!
It costs $28 at PrankPlace.
The Remote-Controlled Tarantula
Do you have friends that suffer from Arachnophobia? Also known as being very afraid of spiders? If the answer was yes, and for some odd reason you want to scare them to death, maybe the Remote-Controlled Tarantula is exactly what you need.
To make it similar to a real spider, it even is a bit hairy. You will need a couple of AA batteries to get the prank done right: 2 batteries for the remote control, and another 2 for the tarantula.
This remote-control tarantula scurries across flat surfaces like an actual arachnid, moving forwards, backwards, and rotates 360. The spider’s eight legs move independently and the eyes light up, allowing you to frighten unsuspecting arachnophobes day or night.
Priced at $25 on Hammacher.
Sound Activated Revolting Giant Rat Caught In A Trap
This can be an excellent prank because most people hate rats, and this is a giant one that measures 12-inches long, not counting with the tail and face.
To give a more dramatic feeling, there is blood on its head, and to bring in the realism, the rat’s body will shake anytime someone goes near it.
His head appears to be caught in a huge rat trap, and his body will quiver and shake when someone comes near, and a sound is detected. This will scare the pants off anyone who comes close!
The giant rat is priced at $20.
Remote Control Office Prankster
If you’re the type of person that likes to annoy others on the office during the working hours, you probably already know the existence of this special calculator that works in combination with a small sound device.
Basically the calculator works as a remote control, and every time you press a button, the sound device (which is suppose to be placed near a co-worker) will playback a sound. You can either record your own sounds, or pick from the following: orgasm, fart, burp, modem, fly, or wolf whistle.
Just place the sound device under or near you colleagues’ desk and set off the sounds by pressing the relevant number on your remote control calculator. This RC device used infrared technology, and does required a line of sight between the remote and speaker.
Available at PrankPlace for $20.
Toilet Monster
The Toilet Monster (aka Bog Monster) is a favorite item among the pranksters, most probably because the victims aren’t expecting to view a monster when they open the lift. Surprise is the best element in this case.
He attaches to the inside of the toilet bowl by suction cups. As the unsuspecting person goes to use the bathroom, they’ll scream as they lift the lid and are greeted by the Toilet Monster!
Not recommended for the elderly or those with a weak heart!
It costs $18.
Spider of Doom
The final prank effect after using this spider, should be the same as the previous tarantula, but the working mode is different.
The Doom is activated by sound, it comes all the way down from the ceiling and you don’t even need to use a remote control.
Scare your guests with this sound activated Spider of Doom!
When a noise is made, this spider quickly drops down from the ceiling! Then, it will slowly climb back up to the top with its creepy legs moving up and down as it climbs. When it reaches the top, it will patiently wait for it’s next prey!
You just need $17 to have a Spider of Doom.
Golf Ball Prank Set
There are two types of players in the world: honest, and cheaters. If you belong to the second group, these Joke Golf Balls will please you, a lot. In this set there are 4 different kinds of golf balls, that will make sure that your opponent always misses the target.
The Explorer is one of the balls, that instead of actually working as a normal one, it will turn itself into dust after the golf club hit.
If you’re down by a few strokes and looking for an outrageous way to get back in the game or just in the mood for a gag, swap your opponent’s ball for one of these trick golf balls and watch their game take a sudden and hilarious nosedive!
Available at Amazon for $13.
Shocking Candy Bar
This sort of shocking gadgets are also a favorite that all prankster know, but this one comes in a different shape – a candy bar.
Most people like chocolate and will probably fall into it, I imagine a 67% success rate.
These shocking pranks do not just give a wimpy little static cling shock, they give a real zap. Its guaranteed to scare the pants off of anyone who is unlucky enough to fall for these hilarious pranks.
Try to pick up this tempting chocolate bar and the victim gets a powerful ZAP!
Priced at $10.
Prank Memo Sticky Notes
Think of the Prank Memo Sticky Notes as a way to really scare office co-workers. The pack comes with 50 different notes, and as you can see by the image on the right, which has a “Kill Boss” message, they are all very original.
Each Sticky Note mentions something that you wouldn’t want your office mates to read or know about – which is why they are perfect to leave on unsuspecting coworkers desks. And they look handwritten to add to the verisimilitude of the prank.
Just stick it on someone’s monitor and mention to the office gossip that you saw a juicy note.
The Prank Yellow Sticky Notes only cost $6.
