Dr. Who R/C K9 is the perfect gift for die-hard fans
by Chris in Electronic Gadgets, Remote Control Toys, Toys
I can’t say that I’ve ever really watched Dr. Who. Sure, I’ve caught a few episodes of the new version here and there, but I never really got into it. I’m aware that the show has gathered something of a cult following, so this R/C K9 robot dog is for you guys.
This robot dog is from the original series which aired back in the 70’s. So those of you only keeping up with the newer show may not recognize this metallic pooch. There are 5 buttons to make him do various things such as speak 7 different phrases and activate his expendable Nose Blaster. He also moves back and forth and turns.
If you know someone that loved the series back in the 70’s, this will no doubt be the perfect gift for them this holiday season. You’ll also need to remember to pick up the required 4 AA and one 9V batteries or else this robotic pup won’t be moving much. He can be yours for just $59.99.

November 29th, 2007 at 2:51 amThis is not just from the 70’s K-9 also appears in the new Doctor Who Episode School Reunion, as well as extras on the DVD, his own show in the 80’s K9 & Company, The Sarah Jane Smith Adventures, spin off to Doctor Who and currently just finishing Season 1, and is likely to be seen again more and more often.
Okay yes I am a bit of a Doctor Who nut. Every episode and spin off in my collection.
