Ripsaw Personal Tank

Ripsaw

I realize that most of the readers of this blog may not be able to afford a Ripsaw, or maybe they can, who knows? Still, who wouldn’t want their own remote control tank.

Not just any tank, but the Ripsaw can go from 0 to 50 MPH in 3.5 seconds. In other words, it is about as fast as a motorcycle, but can seriously knock down stuff. I mean look at the thing, it’s like a giant chainsaw blade that just wants to destroy something!

I believe the Ripsaw was a prototype from the military and DARPA, which is an acronym that stands for “we will take the most coolest sci-fi stuff and try and make it as real as we can”.

Too bad you can’t get into this thing and being a one-man monster truck rally. However, I have seen sources that show a driver at the wheel, but maybe he’s sitting in it using the remote control.

It has a 650 hp, 350 pound custom engineered tracks, 14 inches of suspension travel, fully adjustable pneumatic suspension, and is probably the fastest agile tracked vehicle the world has ever seen.

If you want it, you can get it for about $200,000 USD.

That is ridiculous… I’d pay 1 million for that beast.
