It seems as though everything essential to life connects to a USB port. Personally, I have close to a dozen devices within arm’s reach that can make use of such a port. The LaCie USB 2.0 Hub is the perfect way to stay connected and keep your desk looking cool.

Before you stop to tell me that you saw this one last year, you should note that this is a new model from LaCie. The previous version was a mix between USB and FireWire ports. The updated hub includes four type A female, 2 type mini B male and a single type A male. That should take care of most gadgets that you have lying about.

In addition to the new USB-only model, LaCie has also given it a completely round base which allows the hub to wobble back and forth. It is a bit pricey when compared to other USB hubs, but they don’t generally look as interesting as this. You can pick up the USB-only version for $79. They also have an updated USB/FireWire model for $89.
