USB Lighter doubles as flash drive

USB Lighter

I thankfully never took up smoking, as I’m perfectly content sticking to my addiction to the caffeinated beverages. However, the countless smokers out there will no doubt agree that it’s a pain to always keep a lighter on hand. Some get small ones that they can fit in their cigarette pack, while many just keep one in their pocket. Unfortunately for those geeky smokers out there, that usually means having a lighter and a flash drive floating around in your pocket all day. Why not get something that combines the two?

I’m sure you’re wondering how you would manage to cram a USB flash drive into a lighter and still find room for the lighter fluid. That might be cause for concern, were this to actually use a flammable liquid, however, it does not. Rather, it builds on the same concept as the lighter you find in most cars. It uses small resistance coils powered by a rechargeable battery. Here’s where it gets really fun, in order to recharge the battery, you plug it into an available USB port. You won’t have to worry about remembering to plug it in for recharging all the time because it doubles as a flash drive, which you will no doubt use regularly. Unfortunately, if you’re looking to purchase one of these, you’ll be sad to hear that it is currently only a concept design.
