FCC approves Zune 2 80GB

November 1st, 2007 by Edwin in Audio/Video Gadgets, Electronic Gadgets

zune-80-fcc.jpgThe FCC has just stamped its approval for the 80GB Zune 2 after the latter has been put through the standard regime of tests in order to have the device comply with various rulings, including allowed radiated emissions. While the 80GB Zune 2 won’t dethrone the iPod anytime soon from its lofty perch, at least there is one more option for consumers to choose from if they want to get their mobile entertainment fix. Do you think the 80GB Zune 2 would finally emerge from its ugly duckling persona into a beautiful swan, or is it doomed to remain a pariah forever?
