Mouse and Pad set

For all of you out there who are geek girls, or just someone who likes to coordinate your computer accessories, See Jane Work offers the Cyber Bug Mouse and Mouse Pad Set.

If you’re tired of the same old beige or black USB mouse, tired of the Dell mousepad that came with your computer or sick to death of not having any color or fun at your desk at work – then this is the product for you. Choose a mouse of one of 4 designs featuring images of fish, ladybugs and florals. You can plug in the mouse using the USB plug (or included PS2 adapter if necessary) and use them atop their coordinating mousepad to surf the Internet…I mean…work for hours on end. The ladybug sits atop a flower garden, the frog swims in a lake with fun lillypads, and the abstract floral mouse coordinates with some funky flowers in bright tones of orange, yellow and white.

The only downside to this mouse is that it still uses the rollerball instead of the more current optical sensor. I didn’t know companies still made rollerball mice. But, I suppose the surplus of rollerball mice had to go somewhere after the optical mouse became more affordable.

The mouse measures approximately 3.5″ x 2″ and the mouse pad measures approximately 7″ x 9″ and will set you back $35.00 for each.

Faced with the cute ladybug, the fancy floral or the whimisical frog, suddenly writing up that TPS Report doesn’t seem so bad after all.

I had bought a Rs. 300 ($7.5) “made in China” mouse recently which had no company information or website on it. I am sure that the mouse was much better (in looks and in usability) compared to this one. It is an optical USB mouse with its body made of some kind of transparent plastic. In there, they have a tiny aquarium kind of setup and a few LEDs. When connected, LEDs changed color making the mouse a real eye candy.

[...] it does get a touch monotonous.  It also doesn’t have quite the cartoon-like look that the other ladybug mouse I’ve seen had.  Since it’s not so cartoonish, it makes it a better prospect for women [...]
