Canon recalls PowerShot A650 IS digital camera

recall-canon-powershot-a650.jpgCanon has just issued an official recall concerning its PowerShot A650 IS digital camera in China, and this announcement is expected to follow in the US as well as other countries that sell it. The compelling reason behind this recall would be problems with the angle adjustable LCD viewfinder on the rear of the camera – whenever users snap images in bright light, defects in the camera’s body allow light inside the camera and hence ruining the final image. This light leakage explains why you simply can’t get a decent picture while shooting in bright conditions with the Canon PowerShot A650 IS, and it proves that there isn’t anything supernatural about the entire affair.
