Kenwood rolls out new Media Kegs

kenwood-media-kegs.jpgKenwood’s foray into the portable media player market has been pretty limited so far in terms of impact created by its line of Media Kegs. Still, the company has not pulled the plug just yet by releasing a couple of designs despite sharing the same features. The M2GD55/M1GD55 and M2GD50/M1GD50 players will come in 1GB and 2GB flavors with high sound quality as the main selling point. Supported audio formats are pretty limited although utilitarian, able to handle just MP3 and WMA (DRM), while battery life ranges between 16 to 21 hours depending on the format played. Both players will be available at retail stores in Japan from next month onwards.
