Microsoft to replace damaged Halo 3 discs for free

While Microsoft has placed a heavy wager on Halo 3 to help steady its gaming division, an oversight during manufacturing caused certain limited edition packaging to come with damaged discs. Being willing to lose billions of dollars by extending its warranty for the Xbox 360 to 3 years, it is no wonder that the software giant generously agreed to replace damaged discs of Halo 3 for free. Did you pick up those fancy limited edition packages, and are are you a victim of scratched discs?

I purchased mine from play.com – arrived with a huge dent in the casing, and a scratched game disc. Fortunately they’re going to replace it already!
