2.4GHz transmitter and 2.4GHz routers don’t play well together. Especially in a commercial setting, it pays in the long run to have a wired system in place.

I’ve found that 2.4GHz cameras do suffer from interference from wireless networking routers too. However, the cheaper cameras that operate on 1.2GHz (which are illegal in some countries due to the frequency) are absolutely fine. But the 1.2GHz cameras tend to drift in frequency, unlike the 2.4GHz cameras.
