Water-based DS Lites

by Edwin in Childrens Gadgets, Toys

yoshi-dslite.jpgThese DS Lites have been filled with water, and yet they’re functional?! That’s because there are no electronic components inside. Instead, this proxy DS Lite features Yoshi’s Island DS art on the top screen, while a couple of solid buttons work with the water toy mechanism located on the lower screen. Each push of the button will shoot a little current of air into the water, which you will then use it to guide a ball into a goal. Sounds like a throwback to my younger days where I had to shoot little balls into a kangaroo pouch. Pretty interesting time waster, but it is good only for nostalgic value. Doubt kids these days will appreciate something that is not rendered in DirectX.
