Lenovo announces ThinkCentre A61e

by Edwin in Electronic Gadgets, PC Gadgets

lenovo-thinkcenter.jpgSvelte devices are pretty much all the rage these days, but Lenovo has the planet at heart when it designed the A61e computer dubbed “Blue Sky”. It consumes just 45-watts of power and measures roughly the size of a phone book, targeting both businesses and customers overseas. This extremely power efficient computer will run on AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core and Sempron processors, reducing energy costs by as much as 50% when compared to its predecessors. The Blue Sky A61e weighs 8 pounds and the entire computer retails for a pocket friendly $399. Only those looking for a gaming rig will avoid this, otherwise it works just fine as an office PC.
