Remember Knight Rider from the 80s? Man, K.I.T.T. and David ‘The Hoff’ was one unbeatable team with the car being the main star. I loved the red LEDs located in front of the bonnet that was extremely mesmerizing, and Gear4’s latest blackbox somewhat resembled that legendary Pontiac Firebird Trans Am T-top. It comes in a glossy black finish (read: fingerprint magnet) and a flashing red LED display that shows the current volume as well as doubling up as a graphic equalizer. The top unit features touchscreen controls, while Bluetooth connectivity and 24-watt speakers round off the list of features. You can hardwire this blackbox or use the wireless option instead to hook up with other Bluetooh-enabled devices. This Gear4 blackbox will retail for $200 and comes with a remote control.
