Outdoor TVs anyone?
Summer time is coming to an end, but in some parts of the world (like Portugal) the sun is still shining like we really are in the middle of the summer, also known as the real hot days. To take advantage of the weather we need to go outdoors, but there is plenty of “stuff” that we can only do indoors, like watching a favorite TV show or DVD.
To take care of that problem, I have found 2 outdoor TVs that are the perfect solution in case you live in a big house with a “garden”, if you live inside an apartment (like myself) just forget about this.
Anyway, the first solution is the cheapest one, but in my opinion it is the best you can get – 12′ wide-screen outdoors theater. As you can imagine, the screen is huge, and so are the speakers that measure 10-inches each and give 120-watt of sound power. The whole kit includes a remote control and a projector with lens cap.
As for the second product, it is smaller, yet more expensive than the previous one – LCD outdoor television. It is available in 2 different sizes – 32-inches and 23-inches – and is an “all-weather entertainment” solution. If it starts raining, just use the protection cover to protect it from the water. Even if you are not watching TV, it is better if the enclosure protects the LCD panel to keep the dangerous problems of dust, scratches, and insects, away from your $4,000 cool gadget.
LCD Outdoor Television – $2,000 to $2,500 depending on the size, 8′ and 12 ‘ specifically – Product Page
Widescreen Outdoors Theater – $2,500 for the smaller model, or $4,000 for the 32-inches – Product Page
