S3 – The Light-up Pooper Scooper
If the telescopic poop catcher doesn’t work for you and your dog here’s a way to scoop the poop quickly and hygienically, the S3 Poop Scoop.
I must admit S3 isn’t a name that I’d instantly associate with poop scoopers but as poop scoopers go it’s pretty cool (I can’t believe I just typed that). It incorporates a light for night time dog walking action, and also resembles a baseball bat for self defence. I think if you hit anybody with a baseball bat full of crap they will probably back away.

I think someone is on to something with this! What needs to be invented is a device that picks up poop easily (the light is a good idea) and launches it, either at a potential mugger or into the trash. I bet the crime rate would plummet if enough muggers and rapists got slimmed with doggie poo!
