Coolest! Of course if I searched here I new I would see a fishing rod with a twist. This is a really handy gadget for many occasions. Travelers, unplanned fishing, the child and it is cost effective for those are just trying out the fishing experience.

Be careful which one you buy. I was given one for a present and the rod is fine but the reel does not work. There is no way way to release the spool to cast. It will ONLY go around with the handle

The longer pen rods defeat the purpose. The 36″ rods are better because you can cast with a flick of your wrist even if the stream or pond bank is thick with brush. The longer ones tend to get caught up behind you in the weeds. Stick with the 36″ pen rods – they are lighter and better made.
