V470 mouse for notebooks coming soon

Logitech has yet another mouse that will head your way if you’re a notebook user, and this time the V470 drops RF connectivity in favor of Bluetooth technology. Hence, if your notebook already has built-in Bluetooth (most do these days anyway), you don’t have to worry about toting a USB dongle wherever you go. The Logitech V470 uses Bluetooth 1.2 and features laser tracking for a more accurate user experience. The inclusion of Side-to-Side Scrolling Plus Zoom enables users to zoom in and out of their documents in a flash. A battery life indicator light lets you know when it is time to dump the old battery for a new one. Logitech has rated the V470 to last 4 months before a battery replacement is required, but if you use your notebook for more than 8 hours daily, I think 3 months would be a more realistic figure. Do look out for the Logitech V470 this September at store shelves. It retails for $49.99 a pop.
