These have been around in the UK for a while - available from Amazon UK.

Don’t see them on the US site though (now there’s a surprise). Why is it that we are always so far behind the rest of the world when it come to new stuff?

They’re available in the US (under various brand names) and have been for a couple of years that I know of. Just do a google search for “buzz magnets.” One place in the US to get them is http://www.officeplayground.com/stuntmagnets.html.
