I have always thought that a serial number is unique to that particular device... therefore roughly 74,100 cameras should be affected.. but: "according to Sony spokesman Ryoko Takagi, this recall affects around 284,000 cameras that were sold throughout the United States, along with approximately 66,000 buyers in Japan" so... a little mental gym, and that is about 5 cameras per serial number... label me cornfused Wait,wait,wait hold up…
