The Sonic Chair lets you do just that minus the help of headphones. Instead, as you plant yourself into its pod-like shape, speakers crafted and positioned within the “bowl” gives you thumping bass and concentrated acoustics, while those on the outside will barely be able to hear it. Throw in a couple of pillows and an ice cold can of beer and you’ve got the perfect combination. Too bad the $8,000 sticker price is set to trigger heart attacks.
