Salient Technology has recently paraded its wireless mouse pen better known as the VM-203. This device targets designers, although regular home users could give this a shot (I doubt they’d stick with it though). What you get is an ergonomic pointing peripheral that comes with a rubberized grip for higher precision, 1,000 DPI optical resolution, and a couple of independent mouse buttons, all working over 2.4GHz RF technology within a 10 meter radius. There is no need for pesky drivers - all you need to do is plug-and-play. Do you think this will be all the rage among designers, or is it just another gimmick to capture your attention for but a fleeting moment?
