Get Dad a hard drive clock

Dads seem to be on the losing end each Father’s Day, considering the amount of ties, handkerchiefs, belts, and wallets they have amassed over the years. Why not take a different approach this year by getting something techy and help keep the environment clean at the same time? The Hard Drive Desk Clock fits the bill perfectly as it uses parts from a recycled network server hard drive equipped with a quartz clock motor for accurate timekeeping.
Should Dad want to hang this up, he can always remove the base and mount it onto a wall. The Hard Drive Desk Clock retails for $29.99 and is certainly one of the more original timekeeping pieces around these days.

that’s pretty neat. i wonder if you could extract any data off those platters? well, clean them first of course. you get the idea.

I like the HD clock that has the platters spinning to tell time better. Cool clock anyways though.

I don’t see anywhere on the page where you can buy it.
