I bought <a href="http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=801936" rel="nofollow">this</a> little gizmo after I lost my original charger. It's a USB charger and also works in the car with a traditional cigarette lighter. Thanks for pointing that out! I new I could’ve mentioned that I bought one of those such cables and that the PSP actually comes with a standard AC charger.

Unfortunately, the PSP cannot be charged via USB cable. Unless there is a third party product I am not aware of, the PSP must be charged using the power cable and plugged into a 110 volt power outlet. Anyways, you could charge or run your PSP with this gadget, but not using the USB ports. Great article about a nifty gadget.
