ASUS Lamborghini VX2 is one fine machine
June 1st, 2007 by Edwin in PC Gadgets
Anyone who has heard of the exotic car marque Lamborghini will know that this Italian thoroughbred is a no-nonsense sports car that boasts the highest level of quality possible in every department to create a special car for special people. ASUS have teamed up with Lamborghini in the past to create several notable notebooks, and the ASUS Lamborghini VX2 is the latest in their collaboration. The stunning yellow paintwork is definitely an eye catcher at first glance, and eagle eyed folks will notice that this is the exact same metallic Midas Yellow paint used in the actual Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera itself. Of course, for the quiet, sophisticated types, they can always opt for the Noctis Black color. The ASUS Lamborghini VX2 comes with a starting price tag of $2,700, making it a truly exquisite piece of computing that reflects your personality and taste for the finer things in life.
No expense is spared in bringing you the best possible computing experience, with a genuine leather finish and stitching design gracing the keyboard area. The keys have also been ergonomically designed to look good as well as offer an unprecedented level of comfort when you’re busy burning the midnight oil to finish up that multi-million dollar business proposal. At the bottom of the VX2 lies a stunning wheel rimmed fan which is used to cool down this hot machine. The entire metal opening was designed as a replica of the Lamborghini’s actual wheel rims.
The features are definitely not half-hearted attempts, with a 15.4″ high resolution widescreen display offering vivid color and graphics generated by the NVIDIA GeForce Go7700 video card. This powerful video card comes with a whoppnig 512MB of memory, letting you enjoy all the latest games without suffering from stuttering frame rates. Unfortunately, DirectX 10 is not supported with this video card, so those who are looking forward to a next-generation PC game experience will be disappointed. At the heart of the VX2 lies the Intel Centrino Duo processor, an integrated 240 degree swivel webcam, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, draft 802.11n support, and a fingerprint reader for enhanced security.
