The hidden camera detector
May 29th, 2007 by David in Electronic Gadgets, Spy Stuff
There has never been more visible and more worrying hidden cameras around, almost everywhere that you go you are likely to be caught on camera, but there is nothing that we can really do about it, because it is the way that we live now. But there is also a growing amount of hidden cameras used for surveillance at work and sometimes even at home, whatever the reason there is now a small device that you can use to see if there are any hidden cameras watching you.
If you want to make sure that nobody is watching you this device will tell you, it is very similar in size to a Flash Drive, and so would arouse suspicion when you get it out, but once activated it will tell you if there are any hidden cameras in the vicinity, this warning will allow you to decide what your next action will be, being fore warned that there are cameras can save you a lot hassle and worry.
The device works by pointing it around the room or space, the detector will scan and if a frequency of 50 Mhz to 3 Ghz is discovered it will then sound an alarm, telling you that there is a hidden camera within the vicinity, you will be able to adjust the sensitivity to allow the scanner to check variable channels and distances.
This device will cost you around $30,

May 29th, 2007 at 6:57 amI see this device as near to useless. Me being a security camera installer sees that hardly any cameras for surveillance are wireless. Now there are plenty of them for sale but not very many in use for anyone that wants a reliable camera that will always have a clean picture or one at all times. All my installs (even in my own house) are wired making this device useless. Most of the time the only wireless ones you will find would be from those Nanny Cams you find to spy on your babysitter. So if your a babysitter than by all means go and buy one. ![]()
