Be serious… about your toys! The suitcase racing set

by Andi

Look at this! an aluminium suitcase featuring a nice clean finish. It fits perfectly with your corporate penguin’s suit. It will make you look very good when attending a meeting or just going to work.

The real treat however is inside: It’s a guide rail racing track with go-karts. It respects the classic 1:87 scale. The track is well designed, looks pretty tricky to master and totals at about 2 meters length.

This is not just any racing track. It’s a 60’th anniversary limited edition of Faller – a German manufacturer better known in europe, which spoils us with the quality of their products. Only 1000 have been made and will be sold.

A perfect item to make you stand out, be admired, and become the center of attention at the office.
Hell, I’d even let them place bets!..

Anyway, all you have to do to get the action going is to open the case, place the cars (go-karts actually) in their guide rails, turn it on and get rockin’ via the wheel-shaped remotes. It’s a low pollutin’ race too, as a single 9V battery (included!) allows you to race for up to 5 hours continuously!

There’s also a stopwatch included, for the occasional time attack. (betting, again?).

The case is 3,5kg heavy, and includes the track (pre-mounted!), 2 go-karts, 2 remotes, a stopwatch and a 9V battery. Its size is 47 x 15 x 41 cm.

Of course, this kind of practical fun doesn’t come cheap, especially as this is a limited product. You can order one for 600 Euros at Pro-Idee(German!).

Thanks a lot, Green Space Pig, but I got the better coverage here :P
