CCTV is one thing, when the video is on cable and never transmitted (hence “closed circuit”) – but these things transmit their video data to control. So anyone with a receiver can see what the police are watching? Not a good thing, not for the “suspect”, not for the police, not for the innocent passerby whose leather underwear gets spotted by a down-cleavage shot and posted on youtube by the frat-minded copper who records it.

Thanks BW, from what I read I think the GPS is more for coping with high winds and preventing it from been blown away when hovering.

I can see it being useful for major events, not sure about them flying automatically using GPS which I read on another site though.
