Lazy Summer Days require a portable Hammock
Keeping with our hammock theme covered here recently with the vastly over priced tropical model, I just had to explain why I have a love-hate relationship with the hammock. They are incredibly comfortable to relax in on a summer day – if you can set them up, that is.
And that’s the very thing I’ve always disliked about hammocks – the need to use either two trees or, a huge steel exoskeleton which one must have to substitute in order to enjoy them. This has always made it difficult to enjoy a lazy nap at the park, beach, or especially a camp ground where you just can’t find a clearing that has two trees the proper distance apart.
Not anymore though. Over at the Discovery Store, they have a Portable Hammock for sale for under a hundred dollars.
Made out of air-flow mesh and a collapsible steel frame, it opens to over ver 8 feet long and folds to compact size for easy carrying utilizing 2 shoulder straps – which you’ll definitely need since the collective weight is over 22 pounds!
Setup is literally under a minute and it can hold up to 250 lbs. Sadly you wont’ be snuggling up with your honey in this one, but it’s perfect for a lazy nap while she’s off playing with the kiddies. It’s a great addition to your camping gear. As long as you don’t have to hike into your camp area with it.

This hammock is made of woven nylon which make sit weather resistant, similar to a tent material. It’s strong and is easy to wipe dry.

Great for the “urbanized” camper. Now to set up the SATDISH to check my email.
