Altec Lansing has just announced the availability of the inMotion iMV712 that aims to thrill iPod Video owners with a compact, all-inclusive entertainment system that offers powerful, crystal clear sound and sharp video in a single, elegant package. Chances are you won’t see your iPod Video in the same light ever again once you use it in tandem with the inMotion iMV712. Targeting all and sundry, the iMV712 is suitable for use in college dorm rooms, teen rooms, desktops, and even somewhere as unusual as a kitchen counter.
The iMV712 sports a stunning 8.5″ high resolution LCD display that is surrounded custom engineered speakers from Altec Lansing, giving you an extremely powerful audio experience as well as a true cinematic video environment. The integrated 4″ subwoofer offers street rumbling lows and works perfectly with the couple of 3″ speaker drivers to deliver crisp, clear mids and highs, resulting in immersive, high quality audio that is heightened by the Altec Lansing Stereo Field Expander technology.
According to senior vice president of Sales and Marketing at Altec Lansing, Robert Heiblim, “As the popularity of Internet-based video and digital music skyrockets, consumers want new iPod accessory products that amplify the entire entertainment. The iMV712 redefines the concept of an iPod speaker system, delivering consumers a stylish, compact one-two punch of high-fidelity stereo sound plus video display – an ideal digital shelf system for any area of the home or office.” Interested parties will be able to pick this up for $349.95 when it is released later this month.
