It worked for 2 wks then broke. I've tried for almost 5 months to get the company to do something about it and they wont. They wont even return any communication. Do NOT buy!! Im out the money and now have this piece of junk cluttering my house. Worst product ever and terrible company to work with. But hey, it worked for 2 wks right... Them developer fellers thought they was doin some justice when in fact of the lite theyve dun one hell of a job. cant says that it is any werst then the original but its probably the best golfin game yous can gets for yer tv's. My sister bought me this Golden Tee standalone for Xmas last year, and it's just not worth playing. My best friend and I have spent numerous hours playing video game golf, and were very excited to be able to use the trackball, but it just doesn't measure up. It's also possible they have different versions out, as the one I received doesn't look just like the one in the picture, and mine is the "original" Golden Tee, and not GT 99, or some other year since. Hopefully they'll come out with a newer standalone version that will better copy the arcade game experience. I’ll have to second Rob’s comment.

My sister bought me this Golden Tee standalone for Xmas last year, and it’s just not worth playing.

The graphics are awful - there is no vioce to say "wow" when you make that great shot. Heck, even the controls are clunky. I busted it out at a party and we all ended up playing Golden Tee on the M.A.M.E. emulator. Looking on the bright side maybe I can hack it into a controller for M.A.M.E.
