Last months motorized marble racer was pretty cool but it’s nothing in comparison to this beast, the “California Dreamin” Kinetic Art Motorized Ball Machine Sculpture.

The sculpture consists of 3 different tracks which a ball bearing follows, the route of the ball is changed automagically thanks to “gravity operated, magnetically optimized, switching units” (metal lever things). If you’re into this sort of art you can get a piece commissioned for about $15,000, ouch.
