I use a recharger for the batteries that plugs into the wall and do the switcheroo all the time. Even so, my rechargable batteries are dying on me now. How long do rechargable batteries last? Are all the Wii remotes compatable with these chargers? It seems like to me all that I would be doing by buying one of these is eleminating the step of removing and replacing the recharged batteries. Right?

I got mine yesterday, but what I'm doing is I'm using my iphone outlet usb connector, I connect the usb cord from the charger to that outlet connected to the 120V outlet and works perfect, dont need to use the usb ports from my Wii. If you leave wiiconnect24 on so the usb ports of your wii can be on all the time, it can burn your video chip on your wii.

Is this such a good idea? USB ports aren't designed to source a large amount of power, charging one device like a wii-mote or an ipod is one thing..charging four wii-motes at once is another.

I wonder if you can destroy the USB bridge by drawing too much current.

Does the charger plug into where the nunchuck goes?, if not this will be very inconvenient if you have skins on your wiimotes.
