JVC’s Floating Digital Audio Player XA-AW33-W
With the amount of current mp3 players in the market and taking in consideration that each week there are even more players being released, it gets hard to create an interesting product that doesn’t resemble the rest, if you know what I mean…
I guess this is how some companies think: create an interesting and original shape for the player, come up with an original and cool name, keep almost the same specifications that all the other mp3 players have, and boom, there is a new device on the market, simple as that. Some bet on big storage capacities to attract buyers, while others go for the lowest price possible.
Anyway, enough with the chit-chat and onto the real juice of this post – the “latest” JVC Digital Audio Player with the following code name XA-AW33-W. I believe JVC skipped one of the steps I previously described, which was picking a cool name for the device, but that small detail can be forgotten if the features are amazing, which seem to be the case with the JVC product:
- waterproof and capable of floating on the water, think of it as a rubber ducky that can sing your favorite songs.
- the water resistance rates match the Japanese Standard, which gives this player a limit of 30 minutes under the water with a depth of 1 meter.
- files are transferred via USB.
- works with 4AA batteries which won’t cause any harm, meaning that there is no way you will die of electrocution while listening to some songs and giving bath to the player (and yourself).
