Did you catch the way covered this toaster?

It's just an updated version of a conveyor toaster which restaurants have used for decades. Making it slightly smaller isn't going to reduce current costs ($500+) much due to the amount of energy needed to flash bake in less than 10 seconds. Heck, what do I know. There are already $600+ 4 slice toasters out there anyways so maybe this will fly one day.

I wouldn’t get my hopes up. Consider all of the lawsuits for little rug rats sliding their sister’s hand in the cool gadget and searing her flesh. I realize it’s no more dangerous than a clothes iron, but there are higher safety concerns for kitchen equipment.
