Great collection to have on display, not to mention when branded lego kits go out of production there value can usually double. go check out the Star Wars stuff to, with kits over 3000 pieces!. There is a neat development they have which is a pull spring damped through an air piston, so that when you push the release lever the door opens slowly (there's a lever and spring/piston assembly per side).
