Dumb Voice Changing Face Obscurer Thing

March 23rd, 2007 by Al in Wacky Gadgets

mosaicshow3.jpgThere seems to be a lot of cool gadgets coming over from Japan, but it also seems that for all the cool gadgets there is equal amount of crud. This next gadget falls well and truly in the crud side of the pool.

I think this is the first ineffable* gadget I’ve come across, so I’m just going to copy and paste the description:

The Mosaic Show is a set of a blinder to hide your identity and a microphone to change your voice. The Mosaic Show hides your identity completely. Behind the blinder, you can talk naughty words as freely as you like. If you are too decent to speak nasty words, you can vanish naughty words with funny effect sounds. Now there is no reason you should be a decent person!

If that still makes no sense check out the video

Believe it or not you can actually buy this thing from strapya.

* - I’ve been reading books with big reads that I had to look up in the dictionary and then find an excuse to use.

He said something naughty…….I’m not sure exactly what, but it must have been NAUGHTY!

Wow, thank you for showing us the truly uncool side of things. It makes me appreciate the really cool stuff even more.

I was going to start a site crappiest gadgets a while back (which this is very suited for) but thought I might have trouble finding advertisers :)

Actually, that is not a bad idea. Kind of along the lines of the “Worst Web Pages” idea. Everyone loves to slow down to see a wreck, so this might be something. :-)

Wonder if you have the capability to see how many people view a certain showcased item in your log files? That’ll give you a sense if it’s even worth attempting.
