Also there are some radio controlled watches around that actually look good. Just do a google image search for "Junghans Mega". (Junghans = the company and Mega = the the first word of all their models that are radio controlled be it alarm clock, wrist watch or whatever) Oh man, when I was little I always wanted to have the one ceramic casing and the solar panel behind the hands. However: 999 DM was slightly out of reach for my elementary school pocket money of 2 DM per week.

[...] Braun Self-Setting Watch You’ve heard of atomic watches? Here’s a watch from Braun that communicates with a time signal via radio, working in very much the same way. The a W-200 sets itself, but it’ll set you back over $400. It’s only available in Europe so far. [...]

extremely expensive in my opinion... these watches have been around for years, i own one from a shabby brand myself, and it works just fine... i bought it from germany tho, and romania is quite out of reach of the radio emitter :-s my desk watch does synchronise with the radio, but that watch doesn't... so i only wear it in germany :)

a better-looking one than this one is regularily on sale in Aldi in Germany for around 40 euros, and, as i said, they work perfectly..
