Goldfish grow to 8-20+ inches depending on the type and require 2-3 gallons of water per inch of adult length, a strong filter, and high aeration. Goldfish bowls are being banned throughout the EU as they substantially shorten the 20+ year lifespan of the species, so suggesting a product like this is a suitable home is misguiding to potential buyers. I would also like to point out that such a set-up is unsuitable even for guppies. Guppies are tropical fish and require an aquarium that can be safely heated; they also require proper filtration (not an "air filter," which is basically a bubbler) as they are sensitive to water quality fluctuations and can not recieve the 100% water changes this set-up would demand to prevent waste build-up. I would hope that eventually, a progressive society would start researching the needs of the animals they are caring for. But the fact that products such as these still exist on the market speaks strongly to the contrary.
