New SanDisk Memory Card has a USB adapter
March 11th, 2007 by Nick in USB Gadgets, Photography
If you take a lot of digital pictures, and want to simplify the process, the answer is the new groundbreaking Ultra® II SD™ Plus Cards from SanDisk. These flash memory cards can turn into an USB adapter and plug directly to your USB port, eliminating the need to carry an extra cable.
All you need to do is remove the cover and reveal the USB adapter, and then connect to your computer to transfer your photos. There’s no need for drivers, and it works with Macs and PCs.
According to SanDisk, they have both durability and high speed for all your photographic needs.
When not in use, the Ultra II SD Plus looks just like a regular SD card. The line will have two versions with 512 MB and 1 GB being shipped in April, and a 2 GB version coming in October. The prices will range between US$ 50 to US$ 135.
