Cooper Cooler, Chill Those Wine Bottles Instantly!

March 7th, 2007 by Nick in Drinking Gadgets

Copper Cooler

Yesterday we told you about the Tinchilla, and I thought that was as cool as a drinking gadget could get. One of our readers told us about the Cooper Cooler, a similar gadget that’s also designed to chill your warm beverages, but with a twist; this one can also cool your wine bottles too! The Cooper Cooler can get your can your beer cans chilled in 60 seconds and your wine bottles in only 6 minutes.

Like the Tinchilla, the Cooper Cooler is very simple to use, just add water, ice cubes and turn it on. The chiller stops automatically when your drink reaches the ideal temperature. And if you’re dealing with a delicate wine, you can also choose the no-spin option. Another option can also warm cold beverages, such as your baby’s bottle of milk or formula, for example.

The process is patented and I don’t know if they’re suing Tinchilla or not, as they seem to have developed it first. The Cooper Cooler comes in three versions, in white, silver and the Tailgator, which comes with a household 120V plug and a 12V car lighter plug so you can chill your bottles on the road.

Visit the Cooper Cooler site to find out more or click here to see a list of stores selling the product.

Thanks for the tip, XanthViper!

How about getting the product name right? Cooper Cooler not Copper Cooler.

No Problem. :-) Interesting product. But I can not bring myself to believe I need a bottle of wine cooled for the road, on the road.

the cooper cooler kicks a#@. Wife got me one last Xmas and works great. Really does chill my drinks cold in a minute for my beer/soda cans and bottles in three minutes. We also chill our white wines in 3 minutes and reds in just 1 minute for lightly chilled. Whats good for the wine person is it allows you to chill your wine to various temperatures depending on what it is. They even provide a basic wine chilling guide in their manual. Who knew I should be drinking my reds at mid-low 60s??? I’ve been drinking them too warm and I can taste the difference when its lightly chilled vs before drinking it at room temperature esp now since its getting hot here in CA. My wife got the silver body since it looks better from samsclub.com for $59, but I think they have a cheaper white body for like $49 at samsclub.com which works the same. Very enthusiastic thumbs up!! Definitely a cooper cooler fan
