Archos 204

If the new Archos 704 with Wi-Fi that everyone is talking about is too much for your daily needs, you’ll be glad to know that Archos is also launching a portable MP3 player, the Archos 204. The 204 has a 20 GB HD that can store up to 10.000 of your favourite songs and about 200.000 of your photos. The 1.8” OLED screen can be personalized using your own pictures as wallpaper.

Designed to replace the Gmini XS 202s, the Archos 204 is portable, at 2.9″ x 2.3″ x 0.75″, weighting only 4.2 ounces, which makes it the smallest player of the company. This player can handle MP3, WAV and WMA files, with 20 hours of battery life when listening to music. The navigation system has a new interface design that’s based on icons. The player connects to your computer using USB 2.0, and Archos is going to release a lot of optional items such as a strap belt, a car adapter and more.

This player is going to be released exclusively in Europe, and it will cost you 179 Euros.

Visit Archos to find more information about the 204.
