Proporta Gadget Bag Review
March 6th, 2007 by Al in Gadget ReviewsI recently received the proporta gadget bag for review, I’m generally not a fan of “man bags” but this one had gadgets in mind so had to give it a go.
The bag is designed especially for gadgets and as such is heavily padded for protection. For a size comparison I pictured it alongside a classic DVD.
The gadget bag consists of 3 main compartments each of which can be detached and used in isolation. The main compartment also houses a detachable (velcro) ultra mini compartment for the added protection of smaller gadgets.
An added bonus of the bag is that each compartment has a small plastic aperture, so you can pass charging cables and headphones through or between them. Proporat do offer a mobile device charger which could be placed in one compartment to charge gadgets elsewhere (though I’ve not seen that in the flesh).
For me the bag did seem a bit small, but once I started cramming stuff in it did prove to be able to hold quite a lot, I did manage to cram in just about all the prizes available in our next contest (coming soon) without breaking any zips.
The proporta gadget bag is available from proporta (funny that) for $42.95 and as I’ve already hinted at the next gadget competition will be announced shortly (~$600 worth of gadgets for one luck winner) with a few more prizes than would fit in the bag.
